January Session - A Word For The Year

As the calendar turns to January 1st, a collective energetic shift can be felt. This mid-winter moment holds symbolic potency, yet for the Northern Hemisphere, it arrives in the depth of winter. This is a season meant for rest, intuition, and quiet renewal. Traditional resolutions can feel forced and misaligned when the natural world remains still and dormant.

This workshop offers an alternative path and a more gentle approach. Instead of a rigid resolution, the focus rests on choosing a word for the year — an anchor, guiding frequency or intention capable of offering steady support throughout 2026.

Dilzayn will begin the session with a cozy, yin yoga practice. This gentle and accessible movement sequence will invite softness into the body and spaciousness into the breath. The practice will honour the quiet stillness of mid-winter and offers a calm foundation for the creative unfolding that follows.

This session is perfect for folks who feel nourished by the presence of others and inspired by shared creativity. It’s for those who want to be part of a space where play, curiosity, and connection weave together. If you are drawn to creating in community and to the joy that comes from being witnessed and witnessing others — this gathering is for you.

No artistic skills are required, just an open heart and a willingness to explore.

LET'S CREATE

COMMUNITY and CREATION

in a space of BELONGING and

SAFETY

  • 01/ PRESENCE

After going over the group norms and participating in an alignment activity, Jessica will guide the group through a short meditation or breathwork exercise. This moment of stillness will encourage full presence, an invitation to come out of the thinking mind and into the body.

  • 02/ CREATION

Now, let’s create! Jessica will lead folks through an artful practice. The focus is on the creative process versus the final outcome.

  • 03/ REFLECTION

Lastly, there will be time and space to reflect and integrate. Folks are welcome to share or to listen and observe. There is no right or wrong way to show up.
